OJC is a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) that provides "Charity Cards" to its users, allowing them to make donations through a card system. Donor Fuse supports direct integration with OJC so you can accept Charidy Card payments easily.
Follow these steps to connect your OJC account and enable Charity Card processing in Donor Fuse.
Step 1: Obtain Your OJC API Key
- Log in to your OJC portal at https://www.ojccharityportal.org/account/login
- Click the settings icon on the top right.
- From the menu, select Organization Settings.
- For security, you will need to receive a code (by email or SMS). Enter the code to verify your identity.
- Once verified, select the first tab, Organization Settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom and copy the Organization API Key.
- Do not click the “Update” button as this will rotate your API key and you will lose access to all systems where you previously added this API key.
- Once copied, continue to the next step.
Step 2: Add OJC as a Gateway in Donor Fuse
- In your Donor Fuse dashboard, go to Settings.
- Click Gateway Accounts.
- Click Add New Gateway Account.
- In the popup:
- Type: Select OJC from the dropdown.
-

ojc. If you have more than one OJC account, use a unique name for each (e.g.,ojc-main,ojc-events). - API Key: Paste the API key you copied from your OJC portal.
- Processing Fee Category (Optional): If you have the Donor Fuse Accounting Module enabled, you will see this optional field. Use it to select which fee account category should be used for transaction fees in batch deposits. (The system automatically generates deposits based on batch deposits to the bank.)
-
Multi-Currency Settings: If your Donor Fuse account supports multiple currencies:
- Statement Currency: Only USD is supported.
- Accepted Process Currencies: Only USD is supported.
- All other fields are optional. Fill them in only if you have specific requirements.

Step 3: Test Your Integration
- Enter a small test transaction in Donor Fuse using a Charidy Card to confirm the connection is working.
- Check the transaction status in both Donor Fuse and your OJC merchant portal.
